- To ensure the quality and successful completion of geoprocessing tasks, we have developed an email notification system for each geoprocessing tool in Pro.
- Its purpose is to provide information about the duration of specific processing tasks.
- To use it, create a pattern and drag the email block. You can choose to include a custom message, validate the settings, and you're all set.
- After a geoprocessing task is completed, you will receive a notification email that includes your message (if added), the time and date of execution, and the execution time.
- With additional plans, you have the option to include a screenshot tailored to the screen, which can also contain messages from the geoprocessing task.
- Yes, having an internet connection is a mandatory requirement for the tool to operate. Without an internet connection, you won't receive an email, but the geoprocessing will still be completed without causing errors in other geoprocessing tasks.
- The sent email contains the execution date and time, as well as the number of objects if applicable.
- Additional plans can include a screenshot and attachments, with a file size limit of 6MB. If the file is larger, you will receive an email notification.
- The email notifications are based on your chosen plan.
- If the option is enabled, it includes a screen printout.
- Attachments are included with a limit of 6MB. Larger files will not be attached but will trigger an email notification.
- Currently, a complete log from geoprocessing is not included due to limitations in Esri software. We hope to provide a full log in future versions.
