GeoJSON/Shapefile to DXF Converter
Upload GeoJSON, Shapefile, CSV or KML and export to AutoCAD DXF — points, lines and polygons all convert, ready to open in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or any CAD software.
Open the DXF converter
DXF export is built into GISGP's GeoJSON Viewer — upload your file there and pick "AutoCAD DXF" from the export format list.
Open GeoJSON Viewer →Upload your GIS file
GeoJSON, Shapefile (.zip), CSV, KML/KMZ or Excel are all accepted — or paste a live ArcGIS Online FeatureServer URL to load data directly.
Preview on the map
Your data renders on an interactive map first, so you can confirm it's the right layer and filter features before exporting.
Export as AutoCAD DXF
Points become DXF POINT entities, lines and polygon rings become LWPOLYLINE entities. Open the result directly in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BricsCAD or QGIS.
GeoJSON, Shapefile (.zip), CSV (with lat/lon columns), KML/KMZ, and Excel files with coordinate data. You can also paste a live ArcGIS Online FeatureServer URL to load and export a hosted layer directly.
The DXF export focuses on geometry (points as POINT entities, lines/polygons as LWPOLYLINE entities) for direct use in CAD software. If you need the attribute table too, export to CSV or Shapefile instead, or keep the source file alongside your DXF.
No — the conversion happens entirely in your browser. You only need AutoCAD (or another CAD program) to open the resulting .dxf file afterward.
Yes — paste the FeatureServer URL into GISGP's GeoJSON Viewer, no login required for public layers, then export to DXF.
Working with ArcGIS Online?
GISGP imports and exports ArcGIS Online Feature Service data — Excel, CSV, Shapefile, KML, GeoJSON — no ArcGIS Pro needed.
