Field mapping flexibility: GISGP lets you map any Excel column to any field in your AGOL service — even if names don't match. LATITUDE / LONGITUDE columns are automatically detected and converted to Point geometry. Coded value domains, date fields and numeric types are all validated before data is pushed.
How to use these templates

Create a Feature Service in AGOL
Publish a Hosted Feature Layer in ArcGIS Online with the matching schema. Use Map Viewer → New layer → Build a layer, or upload a blank copy of this template — AGOL auto-creates the layer.

Fill in your data
Download the Excel template, fill the Data sheet with your records. Coded value fields have dropdown validation built in. Add coordinates in the LATITUDE / LONGITUDE columns for point geometry.

Push to ArcGIS Online with GISGP
Log in, add your Feature Service URL, and use GISGP to push Excel rows directly to AGOL. Fields are auto-mapped by name — no ArcGIS Pro required.
